Will the introduction of Electronic Sealing add any costs to the transit operators?

A: With the introduction of Electronic Sealing, the payment of guarantees through bank captives, monetary deposits or insurance policy will be eliminated, moving only to the payment of a sealing fee. The fees are defined according to the complexity of the sealing technology of each type of sealed goods. The sealing fees are set out in Decree No. 18/2020 of 16 April 2020 approving the electronic sealing fees.
