How does the Electronic Sealing process work?

A: The electronic sealing process comprises 6 distinct stages:

1. Physical placing of devices on the goods to be sealed;
2. Activation of the seal and route in the system and start of transit;
3. Real time monitoring during the route to the exit point;
4. Action by Customs Authorities in case of registration of illegal acts;
5. Issuing of goods integrity reports;
6. Deactivation and removal of the electronic seal at the exit point.
