Who does and how is Electronic Sealing done?

A: MECTS is responsible for placing electronic seals on cargo transported in transit within the national territory, jointly with the activation, monitoring during the route and deactivation of the seals at the point of exit (ports or borders). The Tax Authority, through the Customs mobile teams has the responsibility to intervene and apply the law in case of any illicit act that occurs between the moment of sealing and the moment of unsealing of the goods.
